David is a superb PT who I have trained with for over four years. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking to improve their fitness levels, increase their strength, to target a specific problem or for weight loss and nutrition advice.
He has an obsessive knowledge about the body and how it works (and why it sometimes doesn’t work) which is far superior to the average PT. He is the opposite to a ‘macho PT’ with a quiet eccentricity and uses his enthusiastic, intelligence and a friendly, persuasive personality to push you on to the next level…..and he will push you!
He is sensitive to your needs and no matter of your ability or age, I feel that he believes that you can do it. He pays attention to form always and I have used his advice in this area to get the best from my training when I am in classes or on my own.
Since training with David I have achieved weight loss, can lift weights that I would never have imagined and feel fitter and more flexible than I did in my 20s. It’s not easy, but training with David is fun, varied and I always look forward to the next one!

After 20 years of virtually no physical activity at all , I asked David to help me with my fitness.
Gradually, with quiet encouragement , David has begun to help me increase my overall fitness and I am losing weight too !
I have a bad knee from an old injury , and no anterior cruciate ligament, David has designed exercises that have already made a huge difference and I walk properly for the first time in years.
The sessions are varied and enjoyable, and David’s help has been invaluable in improving my fitness levels. I wish I had done it earlier.
