What the ** is Corrective Exercise?

Corrective Exercise is a strategy to assess the body and develop a program of exercise to address and fix movement compensations and imbalances to improve quality of movement and reduce feelings of pain.

Who is it for?

If you are struggling with soft tissue pain, achy and tight muscles, recurring injuries or niggles then Corrective Exercise could be for you. It can help with pain in knees hips ankles from running or cycling, the gym or home workouts and even sporting injuries.

How do you do corrective exercise?

Following an assessment to understand current movement, it takes the form of a 3 step plan:

Inhibit overactive muscle structures.

Lengthen shortened muscles.

Activate under performing muscles and movements.

Once these three stages are complete then we integrate it all together in normal movement patterns.
